The Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Service Headquarters is located in Littleover a short journey south west from Derby City Centre.

The map below shows the location of the Old Hall relative to the A5111, the Derby ring road, and Derby City Hospital.

Getting To The Old Hall

By Car

Notice for satellite navigation system users:

When using a satellite navigation system to find the Old Hall it is best to use the alternative postcode DE23 6EJ or to input the address as 585 Burton Road.

The Old Hall is located on Burton Road, the A5250, and is easily accesible from the Derby ring road, the A5111.
The A5111 can be reached from both the A52 from Nottingham, and the A38 as shown in the map below.

Main trunk roads around Littleover

If you are coming from the junction with the A5111 the Old Hall is on the left hand side just after you have passed through Littlover village.
A sign for the 'Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Service Headquarters' can be spotted on the right hand side of the road opposite the main gate.

If you are approaching from the junction with the A38 the Old Hall is on the right hand side after you have passed the Hollybrook Tavern which is also on the right hand side of the road.

By Bus

The Old Hall can be reached from Derby City Centre using either the Trent Barton Harlequin or Villager V3 services.

The Harlequin can be caught from stop E on Gower Street, whilst the V3 can be caught on Albert Street near the Derby City Council building.

You should prepare to alight the bus when the bus passes the Iceland in Littleover village as you will be alighting at the next stop.

If you wish to plan your own bus route yourself you may find the Google Transit website useful.


By Train

There is no rail station in Littleover but the Old Hall is only 30 minutes walk from both Derby City station (C) and Peartree rail station (P) as you can see in the map below.

Rail Stations around the old Hall

If coming from the Derby City rail station you can catch the Trent Barton Royal service from the London Road Community Hospital and alight just before it turns onto the A5111. There is then a short 10 minute walk along Burton Road through Littleover to reach the Old Hall.
