In recent years, Derbyshire Fire Authority has been working hard to reduce the impact of fire and other emergencies on the communities in Derbyshire.  As far back as the mid 1990s the Fire Authority embraced changing the Fire and Rescue Service from one that reacts to emergencies to one that engages proactively before they occur.

As part of this mission we produce an annual Integrated Risk Management Action Plan which outlines what we want to achieve.
