Derbyshire Fire & Rescue Service prides itself on it’s high standard of service to the people of Derbyshire. To continue to achieve and maintain this high standard, we seek to recruit skilled, highly motivated individuals who would welcome the challenge of a career with an emergency service.
Every day we are helping to save lives and not just by fighting fires. Our operational Firefighters could be rescuing people from traffic accidents or floods or releasing people trapped in lifts. Or they could be doing more proactive work, talking to people explaining the risks of fire or installing smoke alarms. Behind the scenes there are many other roles that people don’t see; the control room operators, administration teams, technicians and more.
