Glossop fire station 

  

Glossop fire station was built in 1972 on the Whitfield Park estate.  The estate includes 16 houses, 4 under private ownership, the remaining 12 are owned by the Fire Authority providing accommodation for the Wholetime staff.

 

There are 25 personnel employed at the Station to serve the community, both Wholetime and Retained.

 

The Station has two frontline appliances, an Argo Centaur all terrain vehicle, and moorland firefighting equipment.
