Shirebrook fire station


Shirebrook fire station was opened on the 9 January 1986, it has four appliance bays, a lecture/recreation room, muster bay, Station Commander's office, showering facilities and kitchen area.  The large drill ground situated at the rear of the Station has a four storey drill tower and has its own hydrant and underground open water supply tank used for training purposes.

18 personnel provide 270 hours of variable cover aweek with a professional and caring service.

Shirebrook town is situated on the North East Derbyshire border with Nottinghamshire.
