Clay Cross fire station

Clay Cross fire station was opened on the present site in 1963 and is a retained duty staffed station with twenty one personnel.

It houses two pumping appliances and a light vehicle in a three bay, single story building.

It is in the centre of a small market town with mainly a rural risk base and two main rail tracks run both under the town and around the perimeter of it.
