Crich fire station was built in 1967 and refurbished in 2002. It houses one Dennis fire appliance and a land rover. There are 11 retained firefighters who have other full time jobs and carry alerters to call them to the station when required. There has been a fire station in Crich for 62 years.
As well as putting fires out, we are fully equipped to deal with any type of situation that may occur. This includes traffic accidents, people and animal rescues, chemical incidents, first aid, protecting property and community safety education.
