Chapel en le Frith fire station

 

Chapel en le Frith fire station is a one bay Retained Station situated in a small town in the heart of the Peak District covering a predominantly ‘C’ risk area.

 

The facilities provide an office, shower and changing rooms.

 

The Station houses one frontline waterladder which is a new M.A.N. appliance, also housed on Station is a Land Rover Defender.

 

The cover provided by the station personnel varies from 24 hours per day to 12 hour daytime cover or 12 hour night cover.

 

Chapel Station covers a very large section of the community and also provides back up cover to all the surrounding communities, especially covering Buxton if their appliances are deployed for more than 15 minutes at an incident.
