Clowne community fire station is situated on Creswell Road in the heart of Clowne. It serves and protects a community of about 25,000 people, and many thousands more who pass through the area every day on the M1 motorway.
The area has a diversity of risk that, in addition to that associated with dwellings, also includes hotels; residential care homes, the M1 motorway, a railway risk, a mixture of light and medium-heavy industry and a comprehensive system of rivers, ponds and a canal.
